Gilbert Szeto, Director of Business Development Director of Business Development
Mr. Szeto’s far-reaching experience in equity plan administration includes expertise in the administration of various equity vehicles, including restricted stocks, options, performance-based shares or units, phantom shares or units and stock appreciation rights (SARs). In his role at OptionEase, Mr. Szeto is tasked with building partner relationships, enhancing of OptionEase’s partner services and providing training on public company issues and requirements. 

During the last decade, Mr. Szeto has managed global equity plans and implemented numerous plan administration platforms for a variety of businesses. As a senior consultant at Stock & Option Solutions, he served more than 200 clients representing between 100 and 50,000 participants each in equity compensation plans. While there, Mr. Szeto developed SOX documentation and control processes for equity compensation functions and guided clients in the management of international stock option, award and section 423-employee stock purchase plans. Earlier in his career, Mr. Szeto headed up key stock option programs for Countrywide Financial Corporation and monitored global equity plans and optionee benefits for American International Group and Salomon Smith Barney, respectively.

Mr. Szeto has a long track record of designing and customizing compensation reports for senior management analysis, of identifying industry trends, and providing effective and efficient leadership. He is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.
